ACT of Connecticut Customers Reviews
Cool reception
Frozen left us, well, feeling cold. The casting was off; Anna was delightful and Oaken was the surprise hit. But Christoff, Elsa and especially Olaf were lukewarm at best. There was no real chemistry between Anna and Christoff; and the mountain people made no emotional connection with the audience whatsoever.
Little Anna was adorable; she'll be the next "one to watch." Elsa's wardrobe change to the beautiful blue gown was spectacularly done. And the "Huga" song was delightful. But the sets were lackluster compared to the abbreviated version of Frozen being presented daily at California Adventure in Anaheim. There, at the Hyperion Theatre, Frozen is dazzling and amazing. To think they couldn't duplicate this version on Broadway is unthinkable. Come on, Disney. After the success of Aladdin, we expected more from you.
